Israel to host FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup 2023

JERUSALEM (Israel) - The FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup 2023 will be played in Jerusalem, Israel, on September 5-7.

The historic capital city will host the eighth edition of the most important 3x3 competition for national teams in Europe.


Israel has staged major FIBA 3x3 events in the past, including the Europe Cup Qualifiers the last two years.

While the picturesque port city of Eilat will host the FIBA 3x3 World Cup Qualifier 2023 in May.

Powerhouse Serbia will start the Europe Cup hot favorites in the men’s having won the past four titles, while defending champion France have lifted three of the last four trophies in the women’s category.


Contrary to the "open" network of tournaments (which includes the FIBA 3x3 World Tour), players taking part in the FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup do not create the team themselves, but instead are selected by their national federations to represent their countries.

In order to be eligible, players who compete in the 3x3 Europe Cup must be registered on and have the nationality of the country they represent.
