Miami make statement on Day 1 at 3x3 World Tour Abu Dhabi Masters

28 Oct 2023

ABU DHABI (UAE) - Miami (USA) go undefeated on Day 1 of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Abu Dhabi Masters on October 28.

THE TEAM

Miami were effective as ever in Abu Dhabi, starting off with a hard-fought 16 - 15 victory over Pirot. Dusan Filipovic led his side with 6 points, but they just fell short to the Jimmer Fredette-led side. Canyon Barry and Kareem Maddox combined for 11 points while it was Fredette who clutched up with a bucket with seconds to go to snatch victory away from the Serbian side.

It was the physical and high-flying San Juan next. Antonio Ralat, who has been on an offensive tear recently went off yet again. He put up 10 points in their opening game, but it was Jimmer who answered the call with a superb 11-point display. It was yet again his heroics that called game for Miami as they finished Pool play 2-0.
