Roster Tracker for Crelan FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2022

Rosters displayed on this page have been extracted from information made public by the relevant National Member Federations. This said, they do not necessarily correspond to the final roster that will play at the Crelan FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2022. Final rosters will be communicated after the technical meeting which will take place the day before the start of the tournament.

France name men and women's final rosters

The 2-time European champs bring back two of their Tokyo 2020 Olympians in Laetitia Guapo and Marie-Eve Paget. To complete the team, a couple of young guns in 24-year-old Myriam Djekoundade and 23-year-old Hortense Limouzin, who won the Nations League together last year, with the latter winning MVP.

In the men's category, France will be led by lefty sharpshooter Antoine Eito, the bouncy Leo Cavaliere, the creative Franck Seguela and two-way player Alex Vialaret.

Lithuania announce men and women's final rosters

 
This is a new look men's national team with only Darius Tarvydas back from the squad that won silver at the Europe Cup in front of the Eiffel Tower last year. The World Tour 2020 Most Spectacular Player Ignas Vaitkus joins him, together with Gintautas Matulis and Marijus Uzupis.

 
The women's squad is headlined by 3x3 star Kamile Nacickaite, who buried one of the best buzzer beaters of the Europe Cup last year (against eventual champions Spain). The ambitious team will also feature Monika Grigalauskyte, Martyna Petrenaite and Gabriele Sulske.

 Vervoort headlines new-look Belgian men's 3x3 national team

Number six 3x3 player in the world Thibaut Vervoort aka 'Must-see TV' will lead Belgium at the Crelan 3x3 World Cup 2022. His teammate Nick Celis aka 'Clerk Kent' will be the only other Belgian Olympian on the team. Enters two new faces on the national team: Maxime Depuydt and Bryan De Valck.

 

Vanloo will lead Belgian women's 3x3 national team in Antwerp



Belgian basketball star and Olympian Julie Vanloo will lead Belgium at the Crelan FIBA 3x3 World Cup! She will be joined by 20-year-old rising star Ine Joris and two players with more 3x3 experience in Laure Résimont and Becky Massey (who both played at the 3x3 Europe Cup in front of the Eiffel Tower last year. Massey also won the 3x3 U18 Europe Cup back in 2018).

Powerhouse USA unveiled strong  Crelan FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2022 rosters

Men's: Kidani Brutus, Khalil Iverson, Dominique Jones, James Parrott

The defending champs have a totally different team than their heroes who were the country's first men's World Cup winners in 2019. But there are familiar names in this squad headlined by 3x3 star Dominique Jones, who you know as 'Disco Domo'. 

Women's: Cierra Burdick, Lauren Cox, Ashley Joens, Hailey van Lith

The USA women's team set the standard at the World Cup after winning the opening two editions in 2012 and 2014. But it's been a dry run since with the red, white and blue failing to qualify in 2019. 

 
Hosts Belgium announces pre-selection for Crelan 3x3 World Cup

In the women's categoryIne Joris, Julie Vanloo, Laure Resimont, Becky Massey, and Elise Ramette are the five players pre-selected, While six players have been pre-selected for the men's teams, including 3 of the 4  athletes that represented the country in last year's Olympics: Thibaut Vervoort, Rafael Bogaerts, Nick Celis, Bryan de Valck, Caspar Augustijnen and Maxime Depuydt.

The final rosters will be announced closer to the competition.

New Zealand, first to name their men's and women's rosters

New Zealand brought back 5 of the 8 players, who helped the country shine at the World Cup Qualifier Asia 3 months ago.

In the men's category, Nikau McCullough and Tai Wynyard are ready to become the first U18 World Champs (they won in 2015) to win the FIBA 3x3 World Cup. Dom Kelman-Poto is also back after shining in Qatar. Sharpshooter Jayden Bezzant will complete the roster in Belgium. Richie Rodger and Zach Easthope were named as substitutes.

In the women's category, Qualifier Asia top scorer Tiarna Clarke is back, as is Ella Fotu. The two new additions are familiar faces. You will remember Kalani Purcell from her gold medal at the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2018. Jillian Harmon may be new to 3x3 but is a very established name in basketball and repped New Zealand at the 2008 Olympics. Tayla Dalton and Sharne Pupuke-Robati are the two reserves.
