Liman Huishan NE win 3x3 ING Hamburg Challenger

HAMBURG (Germany) - Reigning 3x3 World Tour champions Liman Huishan NE (SRB) won the 3x3 ING Hamburg Challenger 2022 on July 9-10.

The winners: Liman Huishan NE (SRB)

3x3 World Tour 2021 winners Liman Huishan NE finished as the only undefeated team in Hamburg and claimed their second Challenger win of the season defeating Belgrade Partizan (SRB) 21-19 in the final to claim the 15K USD.


Stefan Kojic led Liman in the final with 9 points and the 3x3 Europe Cup 2021 MVP Miroslav Pasajlic, who was making his debut with Liman after playing for Ub during the last 2 seasons, contributed with 7 in the final.

Aleksandar Ratkov was named MVP of the event after leading all players in Player Value.



The Serbian squad also performed in defense, only conceding an event-best 14 points per game.

The runner-ups: Belgrade Partizan (SRB)

In their first-ever 3x3 Challenger, Belgrade Partizan came all the way from the Qualifying Draw, reached the final, and stamped their tickets to the World Tour Prague Masters.

The team was led by former Ub player Ivan Popovic, who finished on top of the scoring charts in Hamburg with 37 points. Marko Cakarevic led everyone in key assists (14) and Marko Stevanovic was a force under the rim with 26 rebounds.

The reward: Two Tickets to the Prague Masters

As Liman Huishan NE were already qualified, both Partizan Belgrade (SRB) and Hamburg (GER) qualified for the Prague Masters on July 30-31.

They join Sakiai Gulbele (LTU), Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy (MGL), Marijampole Mantinga (LTU), Washington DC (USA), Riga (LAT), Ub Huishan NE (SRB) and the previously mentioned Liman Huishan NE, who were already qualified.
