29 Aug 2020

DEBRECEN (Hungary) – Amsterdam (NED) recorded their first-ever win against Novi Sad (SRB) in the pool stage of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Debrecen Masters on August 29, 2020.

THE GAME

Since 2018, Amsterdam were 0-4 against 3x3 powerhouse Novi Sad (SRB). The dynamic Dimeo van der Horst had a team-high 8 points and added 5 rebounds. Amsterdam also held the number one player in the world Dusan Bulut to just 2 points.

THE TEAMS

Amsterdam were one of 4 undefeated teams after opening day as they went on to thrash Debrecen 22-10. Liman (SRB) and NY Harlem (USA) also won their 2 games before the limit. Riga (LAT) could not hit blackjack in their first game but won their 2 games with an 8.5 point average.
