 PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

The FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2019 will start with a bang on Day 1 with the first steps of Latvia’s men and Russia’s women, who won in Amsterdam just 2 years ago when the city played host to the FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup. On Day 2, the reigning champs Italy’s women and Serbia’s men will start their title defense. Serbia were seeded in the same pool as last year’s runners-up and hosts Netherlands together with USA. More drama will follow on Day 3 and Day 4, with the last win-or-go home pool games. Only 2 teams out of 5 in each pool will advance to the quarter-finals on Day 5, which will also feature a fan favorite: the final of the dunk contest. Day 6 will mark the climax of the event with the semi-finals and all the medal games. You can be sure teams will give everything they got: the medalists earn a ticket to the Olympic Qualifying Tournament, a unique chance to make it to Tokyo 2020, where 3x3 will make its Olympic debut.
