Bulut reflects on FIBA 3x3 viral video

9 May 2017

NOVI SAD (FIBA 3x3 World Tour) - Dusan Domovic Bulut's spectacular move at the Nanjing 3x3 Challenger became an internet sensation overnight.

It was a physical game for Novi Sad Al Wahda on Day 1 of the Nanjing Challenger on 29 April.

"If you're playing dirty on me, you'll end up looking like the guy from Uruguay," Bulut claimed, referring to the way he humiliated a Montevideo player at the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Rio de Janeiro Masters 2015.

This time, the number one 3x3 player in the world not only nutmegged his defender but also added a shammgod as the icing on the cake.

"I was surprised at myself that I nailed it that clean," the two-time FIBA 3x3 World Champion admitted.

"I did it before but not at a big event like that because it's a difficult move."

ESPN Sports Center, Bleacher Report, Dime: in a matter of hours, the highlight spread like fire.

So disrespectful 😨 (via @fiba3x3)

The video tallied 1.5 million views on the @FIBA3x3 social media channels in less than a week.

Bulut didn't mind the exposure:

"I spent some time in the US last month and I enjoyed watching Sports Center every day so to see my face and my move around all these big stars made me very proud," the Serbian sensation said.

"I was quite proud of the Dime article too because I read them all the time and they had me and Steph Curry in the same sentence!

"Plus they said I had the better handles, which honestly...is true," said Mr Bullutproof with a laugh.
